Roto Brush Not working on Mac 17.01 version

The roto brush corrupts your project file with the mac 17.01 version of after effects. When you reopen your project after using the roto brush you get a 33::4 error and the project won't open.

I found that reverting back to AE 17.0 fixes the problem.
