Roto Brush Propagation Problem

Hi. I'm re-posting a question that I posted from last night to see if anyone has am insight: Hi. I am working on a project that uses roto brush a lot. Since I've been working on it, the roto brush has been taking progressively longer to propagate. Other than rolling the version of AE back to 18.1 (which seems to be the common suggestion to resolve the issue), is there another method to resolve it? I am using ProRes 422 files. I am running it on a laptop with Windows 11 and a decent amount of RAM (40GB) and I've upped the amount of RAM usage by AE. Is there anything else I should try?

It's not you, it's the software.

Hi Czaplin,

Is it happening in all the projects? Which version of Roto Brush are you using? Is it happening with a specific version of Roto Brush? Could you share the project file and media with me to test? Feel free to share via DM if you do not want to share it publicly.
Looking forward to your response.

Thanks,
Nishu

Splitting longer clips into shorter segments can enhance performance dividing a 900-frame shot into two parts can improve Roto Brush responsiveness and If performance issues persist, reverting to After Effects version 18.1 has been effective for me in resolving Roto Brush propagation delays

Unfortunately, the clips I working on are more that 1 minute, most being a few seconds.
