Roto Brush & Refine Edge 'Reset' not working

Question

When using the Roto Brush effect, 'Reset' should initialize the effect to the state it was when applied to a layer for the first time. But unfortunately it does not.

Reproduce:

Choose the Rotobrush tool, start painting on footage. Hit reset. See how the paint strokes still remain.

Are you referring to the Reset button in the Effect Controls panel? It is designed to reset the values of the Roto Brush & Refine Edge effect, and it doesn't affect the stroke. Feel free to create a feature request in the Ideas section of the community to bring it to notice.
