Rotobrush Ain't Working!

Whenever I select rotobrush, it's just not working, behaving like the same selection tool. Please anyone help me!

You are trying to work in the Footage Panel. Try choosing the Layer panel by right-clicking on the layer or using the Layer/Open Layer menu.
