Rotoscope brush not working

Question

My rotoscope brush is not working and I am not sure why. Anytime I click and drag with the brush there is no response. My computer is lagging quite a lot and I am working with a high res video. I've upgraded the RAM to 32 GB so am thinking it could be in relation to something else?

What kind of lagging are you facing? Is it the interface or the playback? Does it happen only while working with Roto Brush or all the time? If possible, please share a scree recording of the issue so that we can understand it better.
