Saber Effect is not Working
I am using After effects 2022 and recently attached the saber effect but it not giving me a preview in the view window. 
It works just fine. Both your start and end offsets are at zero, so of course it won't light up your mask because it's stuck at the start point. You may want to study a tutorial.
