Sabre Plugin After effects

Hello, I am having issues with random black frames while using the sabre plugin. Please see the video attached below. The plugin works fine until about 5 seconds in then has a random black frame for a few seconds. Cheers, Fred

What are your system specifications (CPU, GPU, RAM, OS version)? Also, what version of After Effects are you using? If possible, share the project file with me for testing.

Really hard to tell, but black frames are usually the result of a GPU struggling. What happens if you clear your cache.

Still no success when clearing the cache. I made the effect in its own comp which worked fine for a short while then began having issues.

That’s interesting. A lot of the video copilot effects use the GPU, so I wonder if other things are getting in the way. Not an ideal solution, but maybe once you have the saber effect looking as you want, solo it (or use your separate comp) and render out just that effect.
if you still get black frames, try rendering out as an image sequence, and if you still get black frames, you can at least go back and render out just those frames.
