Screen Glitch

I am Using After Effects 2020

It glitches in the white part it actually plays the video and I am unable to edit properly. So are there some fixes or its just my laptop?

Try the following - 

Because you're working with .mp4 video files so go to > preferences > import > under video footage unckeck Enable Hardware Accelerated Decoding and restart after effects.
