Screen Saver Kills Play Back

Question

For some reason I can't get this to stop.

While I use After Effects everythign works fine with my play back. I hit the space bar and it plays. When I hit the actual "play" button in the Preview window it plays. However, if my screen saver turns on, even for a second, when I move my mouse to deactivate the screen saver After Effects won't play back anymore. Everything else works. I can scrub the timeline, make edits and cuts, but whenever I hit the space bar or the play button NOTHING happens. I have to restart After Effects to make it work again.

This isn't the end of the world just annoying.

Anyone else notice this?

Standard answer: Check your settings, update your graphics driver. Certainly this is an issue with the screensaver usurping GPU resources or the GPU not waking up correctly from the energy saving mode. And of course simply reign in your screensaver with a longer timeout.
