Scriptint in AE on MAC

Hi, what sofe do I need to use to write scripts on mac?

 

I have 10.15.7 (Catalina) OSx - and I also download Visual Stuido Code and extension for it - ExtendScript Debugger.

 

But have no ideas what to do next to start.

Can anyone halp me with it?

Hey, all you need to do is to setup as in the description shown below the product here:
https://marketplace.visualstudio.com/items?itemName=Adobe.extendscript-debug

 

Once you setup launch.json file, by simply declaring script name as shown here and setting target application to your's AE version - you will be able to debug any scripts accordingly:

Try going to the File/Scripts/Open Scripts Editor menu. That will give you the Extended Script tool for editing scripts in After Effects.

 

It is also a very good idea to consult the After Effects scripting guide or to enter something like 'scripting' in the Search Help field in the top right corner of AE just to the right of the workspaces.
