ScriptUI Tabbed Panel not clickable in After Effects on M1 Apple Silicon

I have a ScriptUI panel in market on aescripts.com which uses the TabbedPanel element. I noticed recently that I'm unable to click the panel tabs in After Effects on my M1 Macbook Pro. The user interaction when hovering the tabs is a pan/scroll with the hand icon appearing and I'm unable to navigate the panel contents.

Is this something that can be fixed for ScriptUI panels or should I redesign the panel layout for compatibility on Apple Silicon?
