Question

Select color to replace using content aware fill

Greetings,

I'm trying to create a video that has objects appearing to be floating in air. I purchased green (chromakey) gloves for holding the objects.

I assume it's possible to simply select the green gloves (same as in ultra key for premiere pro) then use content aware fill to replace the green (chromakey) gloves with the actual background.

But I can't figure out the actual steps to take inside after effects for achieving this. Can anyone point me towards a video or something I can watch, because my searches are not turning up any solution so I'm sure I'm missing something.

Thanks a million

Richard

Key the footage using Keylight, pre-compose the result, apply the fill in the parent comp. I suggest you read the online help based on these three simple steps I threw at you as your "searches are not turning up any solutions" strongly indicates that you haven't down some basics in AE, no offense. Not knowing the lingo and basic workflows will of course make it difficult to find stuff on the Internet.
