Is there a way to select a property without selecting its keyframes? Or how do you deselect all keyframes (but not all layers)?

    Correct answer Mylenium

Select everything, hit U to reveal the keyframes, marquee-deselect them by holding down Alt.

Thanks Mylenium. Yea I was doing the marquee deselect but hoping there was a better way. Often not all keyframes of a layer are visible in the timeline to be deselected with the marquee. Not to mention all keyframes of all selected properties.

Thanks Roei. I want the property to remain selected (and the keyframes deselected).

Don't you mean marquee-deselect by holding down SHIFT?
