Question

Separating Scenes in AE into their own file

I had an outside contractor build me content in AE. It is comprised of 11 scenes in one composition. As a novice, I know almost nothing about AE. Can I break this composition into 11 individual files where I can edit the text and re-use in other projects? The content is not compatible with Adobe Captivate as is so I have to use Media Encoder after I make the edits in AE. I enclosed an image of what I am talking about. Thanks in advance.

Check AEScripts.com. There is a project separation script there. On the other hand, if all you want is to render something for Captivate, then separating content physically is not necessary. You simply render whatever is the master (sub-)composition for each scene. Anyway, since this concept doesn't seem to be clear to you I would strongly advise to read the online help. Based on your screenshots with all the folders closed up and no timeline we can't tell you anything more specific, anyway.
