Question

sequence disappearing in render

I have several sequences precomposed that I turn on/off by time remapping the composition. This is a very handy trick, I guess that many people use. The problem is that one of the layers (a sequence) simply dissapears in full resolution render. I see it in the preview but in the render it simply doesn't show. The layer is absolutely the same size as other sequences, in fact it comes from the same photoshop composition. Does anyone have an idea what could be a problem and how to fix it?

(the problematic layer is number 2- "click")

The first thing is to try to remove the time remapping and your layer aspiring again that means you do something in the time remapping and that's normal and can happen, you should double-check your time remapping and be sure you use the keyframes in the proper way.

It's not possible to see what's happening in the comps to know how all the layers are affected or affecting the final render.

It might be a good idea to purge all memeory and disk cache prior to rendering - just in case this is related to AE incorrectly reverting to a cached version of the layer.

Thanks. I did purge memory and cash, that was the first thing I did. Unfortunately it didn't solve the problem.
What's happening in the comp is visible on the second photo, which is, the composition is time remaped and that's it. No effects, no guide layers, very simple project in fact.
