Set coordinates of path vertex

I'd like to see/edit the coordinates of an individual vertex on a path.  All I can see/edit is the position of the layer.  I can move the vertex, but I need some of the vertices to be in precise locations.  Any way to do this?

Correct answer Rick Gerard
  1. Select the path (mask or shape vertex path)
  2. Open Window/Create Nulls from Paths.jsx from the menu bar
  3. With the path selected, choose Points Follow Nulls

You will get a null for every point on the path that you can use to position every vertex on the path precisely.

If you need to control the bezier handles, a free script called Create Nulls From Paths Extended will also give you nulls for each bezier handle. Lester Banks has an explanation of the tool and a link to the download on the site.

Thank you, both.  Picked both as correct answer since Mylenium got in first but Rick had time-saving details.

You would need to create Nulls for the vertices using the respective menu functions to create the expressions and move the Nulls.
