Your clip indicates that your hardware acceleration isn't working correctly at all. you don't even have a preview thumbnail for the comp and all your optiojns are disabled. It#s miraculous that AE doesn#t just crash. Start by updating your graphics driver and check the settings.

We honestly can't know. You made your screen capture useless by cropping away everything that would offer some clues like the icon row at the bottom of the comp or for that matter the entire AE interface. Neither have you provided any info about your system and preference settings for hardware acceleration, cahes and in the same vein the actual comp viewer settings. Sorry, but it's really impossible to deduce anything from your clip. You need to do better. Start by checking the settings I mentioned.
