Slow Internet using After Effects

Hi there. I have a problem with the Internet when I use After Effects. The problem is very slow UPLOAD speed (about 0.10-20mb/sec and slow down DOWNLOAD speed deteriorating by about 2 times. 

But i noticed that if I close After Effect, my Internet becomes normal in most cases

My guess is that After Effects, Media Encoder AND your browser are all using your graphics card for acceleration - so when you use AME for rendering, it is hogging all the GPU's resources meaning your browser slows down.

Hi VLADIMIR5C3F,

 

This is weird because After Effects or Media Encoder don't really need internet while they are running. I can think about a couple of reasons:

1. Do you have any 3rd party extensions or panels that might require uploading or downloading?

2. Is the Creative Cloud app syncing any files or fonts?

UPD. Some times it`s need to close After effect and Media Encoder together

UPD. I have just tested this problem again. After closing After Effects and Media Encoder, my internet returned to normal in 5-10 seconds
