Some OTF fonts disappear after restarting After Effects CS6!

I noticed this yesterday (8/13/22) and I was a bit worried. The fonts I was using (Neutra Text and Arson Pro) were already installed, but weren't showing up! How can this be fixed?

Impossible to say anything without critical details like system info, language and region settings, your system font panel with the fonts and/ or another app where they show up. CS6 simply did not support a bunch of Unicode/ OpenType features and an unfavorable combination of settings may just make fonts unusable.

Are they still on your system, but not in After Effects?

Apparently this font in Adobe fonts is quite similar: https://fonts.adobe.com/fonts/josefin-sans

Not a solution, but a workaround admittedly.

I am not sure about the specific cause. CS6 is pretty old. You look for the TrueType font as alternative.
