Sound keys and cc snowfall in after effect 2015

Question

I am using after effects 2015. Currently, I am making a music video in which I create music waves and snowfall to make the video more interesting.
My problem lies in:
When I use sound keys and try to make the music waves (circular) dance to the song but nothing happens, the scale in the scale doesn't change (I use Magnify as a temporary replacement).
Then I worked with cc snowfall and wanted it to dance to the music by setting the keys for speed, wind, and mount, and then dragging them down to output 1 of the sound keys. Nothing has changed!
I'm in need of help perfecting my product and getting more experience using after effects.

Setting the triggers across such a wide range across multiple bands is not going to produce any distinct peaks in the output. It's all just jittery noise with small peaks. You need to tweak this to work on a much tighter range to get distinguishable outputs. Other than that you may simply need to play with the options for the falloff and delays in SK as well as experimenting with the modes. Using particle systems may for instance require to use the "Integrate" mode, since values may only be evaluated when the particles are born and don't respond immediately. either way, you need to spend more time on this and optimize the setup.
