Spacebar not responding

Question

Some times spacebar does not respond therefore I opt for Numpad 0. What is the reason spacebar becomes not reliable?

Nishu Kushwaha · Answer

Hi there, thanks for reaching out! When Spacebar stops responding, does clicking the Composition or Timeline panel and pressing it again help? Does Numpad 0 still start the preview every time?

Could you share your AE, OS versions and your system specs? Also, try testing in Safe Mode with third-party plug-ins disabled and let us know if Spacebar still stops working.

Thanks,
Nishu
