Specific Colour Issue

What is the purpose of having all these three specific colour channel option? Because whatever colour channel you selected you can see other colours as well in the Info panel when cursor on that colour point.

There are a lot of other scenarios where you need to view independent channel, for example, when you are looking for the channel with the best luminance contrast to make it the alpha channel or matte for other layer. Aslo very useful when you are trying to match colors in a color correction effect.
