Spinning Logo with Holes

Hi I am trying to turn this PNG to a spinning 3d logo. I have trouble when I go to auto-trace it. The holes in the B are not there they are part of the logo. I want it to be able to see through. Any help would be awesome.

Are you sure the spaces in the B&C are transparent and not just white shapes onto of the letter? If you turn on the Transparency preview (click Toggle Transparency Grid at the bottom of the Comp panel) you can check. When I use the Auto Trace command on a sample file it includes the enclosed areas.

These are the setting that I used.

Though I would normally do this type of conversion in Adobe Illustrator and then import that into AE and convert it into shape layers.

I did do that but when I put in Adobe After Effects and auto trace it, it traces it but when I color it it fills it in.
