Split one layer in 1 sec parts

Hi all, is it possible to split one video/layer into multiple parts with a duration of 1 sec each in one go? Maybe I'm just dumb but I can't figure it out. I have a 30 min video so doing it by hand is a bit of a slow process...

Check AEScripts.com. There are scripts that can slice up your layers in fixed intervals. just be aware that using 1 second segments you will need to pre-compose parts of the whoel thing. there is no way to have all snippets in teh same comp. AE will stop displaying after a given number of layers and/ or at least be extremely slow.
