sri lankan translation in font FM abhaya x

Hi,

I have a translation in sri lankan in a word file, it copies fine into illustrator but if i try and copy directly into after effects or use the illustator file and copy it from there  it messes up some of the characters in after effects, any ideas how to solve this?
