STRUGGLE ABOUT FORMAT AVI! What i should to do!?

Hi there,

I use my Windows 10.

if you read my English is bad. I still need your help. it's about the struggle with the video format ".avi" I brought it from an online store and it VXF effect. I draw it to the video to drop off on After Effects but it shows up that sign says "After Effects error: File "Name....avi" Cannot be opened, it may be in an unsupported format.

I ask that support chat, they keep it up to say VLC player, I have no idea! I did download that VLC Player. I drop off on After Effect not work again. What I should do?

Hey Vincent,

Sorry about the issue. Do you see this problem with all .avi files or only this specific one? Please let us know what is the source of this file. Does David's suggestion of transcoding the file work for you?

I just found out that my history store has downloaded. There is a list, I redownloading those two options for Avi or mov for video. Thank you for trying to help me.
