This error comes up most often if you use incompatible plug-ins or CoDecs. You need to look into that. If you use third-party effects check the vendors' web sites for updated compatible versions, in particular with regards to multiframe rendering. If the CoDecs are the problem, check your Multimedia system control panel and remove any suspicious third-party CoDecs from alternate media players, video conferencing software and similar, then reinstall AE with sufficient user privileges to repair your CoDecs. Also of course the usual: Check your graphics and audio driver and the relevant preferences in AE, update drivers if necessary, check memory and multiframe settings.

Hi Mreza5FD1,

Thanks for writing in.

Do you mind sharing some details about your project? What are your comp settings? Which effects are you using? Are there any media files? If so, what are the details (frame rate, frame size, format/codec)? This is usually related to the project's complexity.

Have you tried clearing the cache and lowering the preview resolution?

Let us know, we're here to help.

Thanks,

Nishu
