Switching Plugins Over to New Laptop

I got a new macbook and I've been really wanting to get After Effcts back on my new mac but my old mac has all my plugins and data, I've tried so many ways, found a variety of ways that I didn't understand, and even tried syncing (to which at this point, don't think it syncs plugins). I'm so desperate I might just reinstall all my plugins but please, is there an easier or faster way to do it? Thank you.

Simply reinstall everything. The days where you just could copy over plug-ins are long gone with the installers typically scattering bits all over the place outside non-standard Adobe folders. Looking for this stuff and manually copying it over takes just as long as a clean install and with that at least you have an assurance that the licensing systems employed by e.g. Boris FX and Red Giant plug-ins also are set up correctly.

Alright, thank you.

If you really mean plugins, you'll need to reinstall them, because they often create folders and files across the system on very individuel locations.

When it comes to scripts, you just need to copy/paste the scripts and scriptsUI folder from Support Files.
