Synchronization of video and audio playback in AE

Hi everybody. Please help a beginner to solve this problem: How to synchronize the frame change with music in AE?
For example, if I want to synchronize the Scale, then I link this parameter to the audio keys with synthesized sound keys. And how do I synchronize the change of frames in a composition or even the change of compositions combined into a precomposition??
