Syncing Setting Between Machines Broken (MAC)

Oh boy. Something seriously borked with sync settings in AE.

Keyboard shortcuts and Comp presets, etc not syncing between two fresh installs
Looking at the Preferences Folder in User>Library>Prefs>Adobe>AE>23.5

Customised Keyboard shortcut are normally saved in >aeks Folder as the Custom_Name.txt.
But when you sync, adobe throws all the users shortcuts in to the Root Level of the version Prefs folder and appends ".txt.txt"


Help!

Tried resettting Prefs in boh machines.
