System is Undefined

I've been working with ExtendScript Toolkit CC and up until today my calls to system.callSystem() were working fine. I've changed nothing, but suddenly today these calls (and any other calls to System object methods) are failing with 'System is Undefined' errors. I'm on latest MacOS, and CC 2017. Any ideas? Thanks.

This is interesting -- I'd been using 'ExtendScript Toolkit CC" as the target application (since I am not testing AE-specific calls at the moment). Switched the target application to AE, and now the system calls are working.

Yes, system.callSystem() is only available with Ae as host application. That is the reason why it is documented in the Ae Scripting Guide and not in the general JavaScript Tools Guide CC.
