@xluplay

What is the native resolution of your display?  And what is your screen resolution set to?

If working on a display with a native resolution of 1440-by-900 (the minimum for After Effects) to 1920-by-1080, that doesn't leave a lot of space for having too many panels open at the same time.  If using After Effects on a regular basis, I would opt for a display with a native resolution of  2560-by-1440 or higher.

If your display Scale is currently at 125% or 150%, try 100% (or whatever shows as "Recommended").

Here's more information on changing your screen resolution in Windows:

Assuming your native resolution is 1920-by-1080 or less, try starting with the "Small Screen" workspace.  Then add additional panels that you need and save that as a custom workspace.  The Small Screen workspace uses the "Stacked Panel Group" and "Small Tab" panel group settings to help have more panels showing at the same time.

After Effects' workspace is incredibly flexible and you can move around panels and turn them off and on as you wish.

If you use the menu and go to Window > Workspaces, you can find different layouts and even your own.  And the Window menu also controls panel visibility.
