Text Animation Problem

Hello, I'm having an issue with animating a text. I went to animate then tracking to then keyframe/manipulate the tracking amount so that I could expand the text slowly, but when I increase the tracking amount, the right side of the text would expand, not both left/right. This has been happening with other types of animations relating to text lately and I was just wondering what would be the solution.

I moved the anchor point to the center but it still hadn't done much. I'm still new in the after effects field.

I can't see anything in your screenshots but you could try selecting the text and going to the Paragraph panel and centering the text as well as leaving the Anchor Point where it was (in the center).
