Text is getting reversed

I am trying to use an expression to set a text layer to the name of the comp,  but the text is somehow getting reversed.    I am using this expression for the source text :  thisComp.name  - but when it appears in the comp,  some of the characters are swapped around.   See attatched where the yellow text is the dynamic live text generated from the white comp name below. But notice how the yellow text has swapped the "010" and "0500".  Maddening....
