Text not showing up

Text that used to be in my project is now not appearing. Resetting the character panel is not working. When I open a new file, the text works so this is only a problem in the file I am working on.

    Hi Anna, since it's specific to one project, a few things to check:

    1. Are the text layers still listed in the Timeline? If yes, is the Video switch (eye icon) turned on for those layers?

    2. Any missing font warnings when you opened the project? Missing fonts can cause text to disappear until replaced.

    3. Is the text possibly positioned off-screen or hidden behind another layer? Try pressing S to check Scale and P for Position on the text layers.

    A screenshot of your Comp panel + Timeline (with the text layer selected and expanded) would help a lot to pinpoint what's going on.
