Question

Text update delay

When editing text, I frequently need to click outside the text box for the updates to take effect. Occasionally, it can take a few seconds for the changes to appear. This can result in a somewhat sluggish experience when editing text within animations. I am utilizing Adobe Fonts, and there are no additional effects applied to the text.

Best regards, Poul

Hey Poul_G,

Sorry for the poor experience. I'm temporarily moving this thread to the Discussions section for troubleshooting purposes. Are you working with multiple displays? For testing purposes, could you go to System Settings > Desktop & Dock and temporarily disable "Displays have separate Spaces"? Let us know if that makes any difference.

Thanks,

Ishan

Without any infdo about your system, font settings, number of active fonts etc. we can't really tell you much. that and of course start by checking whether you have the correct composition renderr active. What you describe is typical when you work with the Cinema 4D renderer and already have applied extrusions or such, even if they are not visible.
