The Adobe Color Engine Has Encountered An Error

I am using After Effects CC 2020 17.00 Build 557 and when I try to import a video I get an error "After Effects Error  The Adobe color engine has encountered an error" and it won't import anything properly. Also the Project Settings won't open when clicked.  Don't know what happened as it worked fine until today. Can ayone help?
