The clipping option in the noise effect doesn't seem to work.

This project has only one noise effect on one solid black color layer.

Checking and unchecking clipping shows the same results.
I think the colors should be a bit more colorful when no clipping is applied.
Is this normal? or bug?

I am using After Effects 24.1.0 (build78) on Windows 10.
