the image appears inverted after masking it in after effects

I was using the pen tool to mask out the image,after masking it I did get what i wanted but i even got something which i dont require, can anyone help me to remove this.

This looks like After Effects is having trouble decompressing h264/h265.


Try transcoding the MP4 to ProRes 422 LT and then use Replace Footagein the Project panel.
