The system is low on memory.

Thanks for reaching out. As Rick mentioned, we would need the details to help you with the low memory issue in After Effects. Also, is it happening with all the projects? As Rick suggested, did purging the memory help?

We need workflow details, screenshots showing the modified properties of the layer that is giving you trouble (press uu to reveal) and system, OS, and AE version details to even come close to a solution that is more complex than:

"Purge everything using the Edit Menu, make sure AE is up to date, and try isolating layers and effects by turning things off and/or soloing layers until you find the problem."
