Time remapping preview taking forever

I am trying to do a very simple time remap. I have remapped the precomp and the previews fine when viewing it within the pre-comp, however whenever I put it into the main composition, the preview takes soooooooo long (over 10 mins) and it's only a 12sec clip. Is there anything I can do to fix this? because this preview time is ridiculous.

    Normal time remapping must not take that much time,, so did use any effect or so on this precomp? also be sure you turn of the frame blending

    Thank you. I just redid the remapping. nothing was working so I figured I might have triggered something when I did it initially. Issue was resolved when I re-did the time remapping. Thank you for your assistance anyway!
