Timeline columns change per-comp

I constantly open files from other co-workers of the studio when they aren’t available or they open my files when I’m not available, but everyone has their own way of arranging the timeline columns, you know, where you find the Layer Name, Blending Mode, Switches, etc. We all struggle rearranging to our original arrangement in which each one is better working with, and this has to be done within each comp of the project. DMV Arizona
Is there a way to arrange the columns forever as a Workspace, and not as a per-comp, per-file setup?

After Effects doesn't have a global setting for timeline column order. you can create a template project with your preferred order use keyboard shortcuts for faster rearrangement and explore thirdparty scripts to improve your workflow.

I submitted a bug report here and we got to discussing the possibility of adding a feature to save timeline columns’ order/size with Workspaces or as a Project setting.

It was posted as a “Bug” and not an “Idea”, but maybe some upvotes might still help gain some visibility. 🤷‍

That's a feature i would love to have as well. Sometimes is really time-consuming having to re-arrange these columns on each comp/precomp of a shared file. Please Santa! Bring us this feature, we've been such good boys this year!
