Timeline is visible, content is not?

I did a short animation for a logo, and something happened that made the timeline disappear. I was able to restore it quickly enough, but now when I try to preview it nothing is visible. I can see the timeline's keyframes and all other effects though.

This is a complete guess, but could you have accidentally selected and drew a region of interest?

We honestly can't know. You have not provided a screenshot or any additional information like system info and whatnot. Start by resetting your workspace and view options to defaults. Anything beyond that will require much more details.
