Tracker Panel related issue

so i am having problem with my tracker panel in after effects. you can see that i have selected my layer, that i want to motion track on, but i can't select anything from the tracker panel.

You can't motion track or camera track a layer that has position, rotation, or scale keyframes. I can see a motion path on the selected layer. The layer should be footage (a movie) because you can track anything on a layer that is animated by simply using an expression to copy the keyframes.
