Transfer data from AE project to another?

Hey everyone,

So I've been working in AE trying to assign tracking data to a video. However through multiple attempts the tracking point can't seem to follow. Interestingly enough though, I tried again in a new project file and it worked fine. The problem is though, The first project file contains important rotoscoping and masking layers that I need. But at the same time I also need the tracking data which only worked in the second project file.

Is there anyway to transfer layers from one project to another?
