Transfer FireAlpaca to AE file

Hello!I started using FireAlpaca because I absolutely hate working in Photoshop, I can't get the hang of it so I wanted to save time. I figured how to convert a FireAlpaca file to Photoshop, and it opens just fine. My problem is when I try to transfer that file to AfterEffects. I can open other Photoshop files in AfterEffects just fine, (files that I opened and worked on in Photoshop from the beginning) but the files converted from FireAlpaca won't show. I can get them into AfterEffects, but it only shows a black screen. Both Photoshop and AfterEffects are updated on my computer. Does anyone have any advice?TL, DR; >Want to convert FireAlpaca via Photoshop to AfterEffects>Converts fine to Photoshop>Opens in AfterEffects, but screen is black. Not a problem with original PS files.Thanks in advance!

Without any info on the specifics of the PSD we can't really tell you much, but start by looking in the Channels palette for fake custom Alpha channels that may throw a spanner in the works. Likewise, look into layer blending options/ layer styles. PS may have instated some weird combo of settings there. And of course the basics: Check the document color mode and bit depth. Everything else would require more info like actual screenshots of the layer structure in Alpaca vs. PS vs. AE and otehr details.
