Transform each tool in Illustrator - Something similar in After effects?

Hello

im bit struggleing with finding a way for changing a positions with each dot individualy (prview in attached file). This tool is working great in illustrator, but i need better result (resolution and smoother move). Maybe there is a way to make it in after effects?

If shape layer operators don't work sufficiently, then a simple wiggle() expression to a slider that controls amplitude will also do and of course this can be expanded upon and refined almost infinitely to create all kinds of motion patterns.

You can do something similar using the wiggle transform operator for shape layers. Even you can export your illustrator file, convert it into a shape layer to use the wiggle transform operator.

Also, you have some alternatives like particle effects to create a more organic look (Trapcode Particular or Superluminal Sardust)
