Question

Trim paths at 0% but path still visible

So i'm using trim paths for some shape stroke animations and even when the start and end are both set to 0%, you can still see a dot, it's a rounded cap stroke. i've tried multiple things, including changing the dashes' offset but it doesn't make a difference.  I'll link the screenshots of the timeline and the animation.
thank you

I came here looking for the answer to this. What I found is changing "Trim Mulitple Shapes" from Simuntlaneosly to Individually seemed to do the trick

I found out that inside the group (contents/group) there is a merge path object. If you hide this the dots are gone.

Nothing wrong. It's the crooked math of miter settings vs. round strokes vs. how quirky the trim paths function is. Simply mask it out or create an opacity keyframe for the stroke.
