Trouble changing RTL Arabic text color

Hi, I have trouble changing parts of a RTL text in after effects 2021,

my problem is similar to the one here: https://youtu.be/uTjSHLgH_B4

 

anyone has any idea how to fix it?

This is a very old bug. My workaround: to change the color of few words, I'll copy the text from After effects, open Photoshop, create a new document, create a new text layer, and paste, the pasted text will have all the properties of AE's text (font type, size, color...), change the text's color in Ps, copy, and paste again into AE. After that I'll leave Photoshop open in case I'll need to do any changes later.
Copy-paste between Ae and Ps and vice versa will retain all text properties.
