I saw this video and that effect was stunning and I tried to use Pixel Sorter because it was the only effect I was thinking about but wasn't a close result.

These VFX were made by With A Twist Studios - you could try asking them what tools they used. Nothing to lose!

The closest method I can think of would be to use CC Ball Action and displace based on luminance.   That would get you the 3 D lines drawing in the new scene.  I think you'd need a depth map for the transition from one scene to another too.

Thanks for the tip, I’ll test it out and see if I can get that 3D line look.

Hey there, strong_gem,

Nice looking effect there. Not precisely sure how they pulled off that deform effect. Sounds like you've already experimented with third-party plug-ins. I hope the community can give you some more ideas. Have you tried mesh warp? More info here: https://adobe.ly/47ghhwo

Best of luck in achieving that effect.

Thanks,

Kevin

Thanks Kevin, I appreciate your suggestion — I’ll definitely give Mesh Warp a try and see how it goes.
